Student Policy

By submitting an application for a scholarship from the Berlin Family Educational Foundation, the applicant agrees and acknowledges that the application and content of such application, including the essay portions, are thereafter the sole property of Berlin Family Educational Foundation. In addition, the undersigned agrees that Berlin Family Educational Foundation may use any and all portions of the application and/or any pictures of the applicant in its promotional materials, including on the World Wide Web, or otherwise, in such manner and in such places as the trustees of the Berlin Family Educational Foundation may choose.

Only students registered on this website and completing an application here will be considered for a scholarship.
Complete applications must include:

1. Profile information

2. Two rating scales
Each application should be accompanied by two rating scales. One needs to be completed by a teacher. The other may be completed by a teacher, administrator, member of the clergy, the student’s employer or volunteer supervisor, law enforcement official or elected government official.

3. Copy of your acceptance letter
Students should be planning to attend a post-secondary educational institute. Please attach a copy of your acceptance letter to this application. If a letter has not yet been received, scholarship winners’ awards will be pending upon the copy of the acceptance letter.

4. Copy of your seventh semester grades

5. Completed essay

7. A one paragraph essay: “Words Of Wisdom For A Younger Person”.

A student must be scheduled to graduate May or June of this year. Recipients of the scholarships will be notified in May through the guidance office or at a Senior Awards Night.
